Sketchbooks for every technique

Not every paper is suitable for every medium. Do you work with wet media like watercolor or gouache? Then you need a sketchbook with heavier, absorbent paper that won't bleed through or buckle. For dry media like pencil, charcoal, or pastels, paper with more texture works better, as it holds the pigment beautifully.

In our assortment, you'll find both cold-pressed paper (with a lightly textured surface, ideal for watercolor) and hot-pressed paper (smooth and perfect for fine detail work with ink or fineliner).

A suitable size

We have sketchbooks in all common sizes. A4 is ideal for larger works and gives you plenty of space. A5 is the all-rounder: large enough to work in, but also easy to carry. And with an A6 sketchbook, you can quickly capture ideas on the go without taking up much space. Prefer something different? We also have sketchbooks in uncommon sizes.
