Watercolor sketchbook

What are the advantages of 100% cotton paper?

First, the surface of cotton paper is smoother than that of other types of paper, making it easier for your pencil or pen to glide across the paper. And if you like to use watercolor or gouache, cotton paper is highly absorbent, meaning your colors will stay bright and vibrant without bleeding to the other side of the page.

The durability and longevity of cotton paper also make it a good choice if you want your artwork to last. Unlike other types of paper, cotton paper is less likely to deteriorate over time and will not yellow or become brittle as it ages, keeping your work looking as fresh as the day you made it.

In addition to sketchbooks, there are also drawing pads. A drawing pad has the advantage over a sketchbook that you can easily remove the pages to frame them, for example.

Is a sketchbook the same as a blank notebook?
